The main attraction besides the lake itself, the wall is an engineering marvel completed in 1959. It is possible to take a walk on the wall, please take some form of identification with you (Passport or Zimbabwe ID). Park your vehicle at the immigration office (border post) and go into the office and advise the staff that want to go and see the wall, they will then take your identification and give you a gate pass to get through the boom. You can drive your vehicle down to the wall, there is a parking area just off to the side. From here you are free to exit your vehicle and walk the length of the wall. Once you are finished you can drive back up to the immigration office and retrieve you identification documents.
